NOTE: BigTime will be phasing out support for SAML-based SSO providers in a forthcoming update, the date of which will be announced later this year. While no immediate action is required, please be aware that existing SAML SSO integrations will need to transition to the OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocol in the future. If you are interested in becoming an early adopter of OIDC, we encourage you to get in touch with us for more details.
Why is the SSO setup process so involved?
We have heard your feedback about the extensive setup process for SSO authentication, and we are working to streamline this for our upcoming launch of our rebuilt SSO & MFA service to reduce setup friction. If you would like to be involved in our early access program for SSO, please fill out this Early Access form.
How can I enforce my staffers to use SSO?
Currently all customers can choose which method they would like to use for login (SSO or Username / Password). Starting in May 2024, we will be rolling out a new SSO & MFA experience that can be enforced by admins. If you would like to learn more, please read our April 2024 Release Announcement.
