Overview
Organizations have different practices for naming projects. Depending on your needs, you, as an administrator, can decide what the project name display format should be for the entire organization.

To reach these settings, follow the path below:

Log In to Administrator Role account - Go to the General Settings tab - Turn Show Project Name Based On Display As... Field Settings in the BigTime option on

How It Works
With this option, the project name will be displayed in the chosen format wherever it appears. The most common use case is setting up the following display format: Project Name: Client Name, which allows you to distinguish projects on the list precisely.
