Some BigTime features, such as custom timesheet fields, aren’t available in BigTime Mobile app. Because of this, users will need to use the web version of BigTime on their mobile devices if they want to take advantage of such features.
Instead of searching for BigTime’s URL in your phone’s browser every time, you can add BigTime’s web browser to your phone’s home screen. This will allow you to access the web browser just like you would any other mobile app. To do so, follow the steps below.
For iPhone Users
1. Open Safari on your iPhone and go to iq.bigtime.net. At the bottom of your screen, tap on the SHARE icon.
2. This will open all your webpage sharing options, as well options to add the page to your Reading List, Favorites and Home Screen. Tap the ADD TO HOME SCREEN option.
3. You’ll now be redirected to a window where you can choose a display name for your web browser icon. Once you’ve chosen a display name, tap ADD at the top right corner of your screen.
A new icon will now appear on your home screen alongside your other apps. Now, whenever you want to access BigTime’s web browser, all you need to do is tap the BigTime icon in your home screen.
For Android Users
Android users can add BigTime’s web browser as an icon to their home screens in much the same way that iPhone users do. First they’ll need to open their phone’s native internet browser, and then tap on the THREE DOTS in the top right corner of their screen. Then, they can select ADD TO HOME SCREEN to save BigTime’s web browser as an icon to their home screen.
