- CAN I ENTER EXPENSES EVEN WHEN I DON’T HAVE AN INTERNET CONNECTION? Yes, you can enter expenses even when you have a limited connection or are offline. You will see a light gray cloud next to these expenses. This indicates that a data sync is pending when you are back online.

For expenses that aren't syncing with the web application, you can click to open that expense, with a gray or red cloud next to it, and hit EDIT. Click SAVE once you've established an internet connection to make the request to sync with our web application. If this does not resolve things, contact support@bigtime.net with some detailed information on the issue you're experiencing.

Downloading Bigtime Mobile Apps
Access the Download Link From the Bigtime Web Application
Users can open the BigTime web application from their device to be directly linked to the app within the App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android. You could also search for and download the app directly from your respective app store.
1. Navigate to iq.bigtime.net on your device. You will notice text that reads "Want to go mobile?" with a respective option for your device.
2. Choose the appropriate option. You will then be directed to the item in the App Store or Google Play to initiate the download.
3. Click INSTALL or GET to begin the download.
Download Directly From Google Play or the App Store
1. Open Google Play or the App Store from your phone. Search for “BigTime Mobile” and confirm that the publisher is BigTime Software.
2. Click the INSTALL or GET button, depending on your device. This will begin downloading the app to your phone.
Entering and Submitting Expenses and Receipts Using Bigtime Mobile
Now that you’ve downloaded the BigTime mobile app on your phone, open it and follow the same process for logging in as you would via the web application—with your username and password. Once logged in, you can begin entering your expenses.
1. Click the EXPENSES tile. This will take you to your expense history in the same way that you would view your Expenses Dashboard via the web app.
2. Click UNSUBMITTED EXPENSES. Note that this is the only way to add a new expense using the mobile app.
3. Click ADD EXPENSE. To begin entering a new expense, click this button located at the bottom right of the screen.
4. Input your expense details. Enter this information in the same way you would using the web app: click into the Project and Type fields to select relevant categories, enter the amount of the expense, choose the date, and add any notes if necessary.
5. Flag the expense as non-reimbursable or non-billable. Click the N/C tag to mark an expense as NO CHARGE or click on the N/R tag to mark it as NOT REIMBURSABLE. Clicking ACTIVATE to flag an expense as either type of charge will make the tag a dark gray. To unflag an expense from either of these categorizations, click DEACTIVATE. The tag will return to a light gray state.
6. Click the camera icon to upload a receipt. You will receive two options: TAKE A PICTURE will launch your phone’s camera, allowing you to take a picture of your receipt on the spot. Clicking UPLOAD A PHOTO will allow you to choose an image from your photo gallery.
7. Click SAVE. Save the inputted details by clicking the SAVE button in the upper right corner of the screen.
8. Review or edit your expense. Click on the expense to return to the entry form. Then click EDIT at the bottom right of your screen. Review and change anything necessary. This includes the receipt: click the camera icon to view the uploaded receipt or replace it with a different file.
9. Click SUBMIT. If everything is accurate, click the SUBMIT button at the bottom left corner of the screen. You will receive confirmation that your expense has been successfully submitted.
